I was taught to crochet when I was 6 year old by my wonderful grandmother. I used to watch her constantly when visiting and she eventually just put a ball of wool and hook in my hand and I was off. I love to find and challenge myself with new beautiful and complicated patterns. There is so many amazing designers out there with more patterns than I could ever get to but I enjoy trying.
I grew up on the NSW South Coast and have moved round Australia a lot with work. Lived in some amazing places but moved to the lovely Port Stephens area about 15 years go for work. Settled and retired now to beautiful Lemon Tree Passage I have lot of lovely time now to devote to my craft.
I enjoy sharing my passion and have taught many to crochet over the years as well as helping others to have the confidence to tackle much more complicated patterns. I love getting together with friends and sharing ideas, new project, knowledge and generally our love of yarn.
Although I have had a go at many different crafts over the years, I always come back to my first love crocheting.
