IMAGINE…

My art is intuitive and expressive, my way of responding to the place I call home; Port Stephens. When I create, I don’t try to copy nature in its perfection; I respond to it. I feel more personal satisfaction and joy by expressing my feelings about what surrounds me, rather than re-creating it. Life throws curved balls at each of us and I’ve had a few!  Art lifts me up to a place that helps me manage the hard parts. This body of work ‘Imagine’, is about fun and colour.  Nothing is quite what it seems to be. I had so much fun painting these artworks and hope they bring a smile to your face when you view them.
