Brief description of workshop

Watercolour is a magical medium when using this creative method; no matter what your strengths are, you will be amazed at the results you can achieve. I will demonstrate step by step the different techniques you will learn on the day.

The 2 examples above are just ideas we will work from. We have some amazing wild flowers in Australia; I will have some references for you to choose from such as Banksias, Proteas, Flannel flowers, Waratahs and Gum Blossoms.

Be prepared for a fun day: it’s all about enjoying yourself with this amazing medium. Bring your own reference if you have anything suitable.

Requirements: Could participants please bring your normal items you use to set up for watercolour;

  your own lunch; water bottle and other refreshments if required. We will provide morning tea.

*A more detailed Materials List will be available on registration and payment.

Nada O’Loughlin-Yonge

I have been painting for many years now, experimenting with and using many different mediums to achieve the results that appeal to a great variety of people. Being mainly self-taught, I have used watercolours as my favorite medium and am well known for my rich, vibrant paintings of Australian flora and fauna. My subject matter now - depicting  the many moods of the ocean, Australian bush,  wildlife, flowers, Venice water ways to name a few.

I have been involved in many successful exhibitions throughout my artistic career, and am represented in private collections throughout Australia and overseas. Find me on Instagram and Facebook. I love sharing my knowledge with others.
