Brief description of workshop:
Using watercolour to paint one of our delightful little Australian birds found in our backyards. I will provide reference of bird. If you have any gum leaves that hang down, please flatten them to bring along. Gum nuts are good, too.
Requirements: Could participants please bring:
WATERCOLOUR PAPER – good quality 300 GM Cold press (medium) or hot press. Approximate size A4 or smaller; masking tape and cardboard to tape paper to.
BRUSHES – Good quality watercolour brushes with fine points Size 0
WATERCOLOUR PAINTS –Ultramarine Blue, Indigo, Antwerp Blue or Pthalo Blue, Dioxazine Violet, New Gamboge Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber and Lamp Black
OTHERS – 2B or 4B pencil; putty rubber; water colour - colour palette; water container; tissues and an old hand towel .
Supplied: Morning tea.
