                                    Harmony

This exhibition is to the theme of Music, and my clay of choice for this exhibition has been porcelain, partly because of its purity of colour, but more so because high fired porcelain develops beautiful tonal qualities which fit with this musical theme.

I have also been inspired to create from clay, interpretations of some more medieval musical instruments that I have seen in museums while travelling in Europe. My creations are sculptural and imaginative, aiming to interest and please visually rather than be recreations of actual instruments.
