Children's workshop - Chalk Pastel Portraits

What the workshop will cover:
This workshop is facilitated by art school teacher Donna Ling for the 8+ year olds.
Students will learn to draw a self portrait learning about proportion of facial features and chalk pastel shading techniques to create a 3d finish.
Requirements:
Students to bring: Their own water and piece of fruit; paint shirt or smock.
Supplied: Chalk pastels; drawing paper; pencils; guide sheet and fixative spray.
Evaluation Sheet:
Students to complete at the end of the workshop.
